Lean Management
In lean management, the wastes are defined as anything that does not add value to the end product e.g. Repairs carried out on a product during warranty, rework on a customer’s task, cost of excess inventories, or other overheads. Lean Management Philosophy has identified seven types of waste in business organizations Most of these wastes are avoidable with a little effort, provided we see them as wastes. Every waste shows an opportunity for improvement. Lean Management is about expanding capacity by reducing costs and shortening cycle times
